Library Rolls Out Summer Programs Through August

The Lynn Public Library's summer schedule remains in effect this week, with a lineup of children's, teen and family programs running through early August.

The Lynn Public Library is operating on its summer hours through September 7: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the library closed Saturdays and Sundays. The library will also be closed Labor Day, September 7.

The library's community calendar shows a steady run of programming aimed at families and teens. "Messy Mornings with the LPL" is scheduled for July 22, July 29 and August 5, each from 10 to 11 a.m. The library's Teen Entrepreneur Speaker Series continues July 22, July 29 and August 5 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., while Teen Tech Space sessions are set for July 23 and July 30 from 3 to 5 p.m. A Movie Night is planned for July 25 from 8 to 9 p.m.

The library also continues to promote its 2026 "Plant a Seed" summer reading program for children, teens and adults, along with its Kanopy streaming service, which gives cardholders 25 monthly tickets to stream movies and documentaries.

COMING UP

Messy Mornings with the LPL is scheduled for July 22 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Lynn Public Library. The Teen Entrepreneur Speaker Series meets July 22 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. LPL's Teen Tech Space runs July 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. Movie Night is set for July 25 from 8 to 9 p.m.
