Lynn Public Library Summer Hours and Reading Program Now Underway

The Lynn Public Library heads into the heart of its summer season with modified hours now in effect and a full slate of recurring weekly programs, the most substantive local news in a quiet weekend cycle.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Lynn Public Library is running on its modified summer schedule through July 2, with all departments open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Saturdays and Sundays, and will also be closed Friday, July 3, ahead of the Independence Day holiday.

The library's summer reading program, "Plant a Seed, Read," is underway for children, teens, and adults. Separate reading tracks are available for each age group through the library's website at lynnpubliclibrary.org.

Two recurring weekly programs begin in July. Messy Mornings with the LPL runs every Tuesday at 10 a.m. starting July 1, a hands-on program for younger children. Teen Tech Space meets every Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. starting July 2, offering a drop-in space for teenagers at 5 North Common St.
