Lynn Water and Sewer Commission reelects chair, votes to draft its own bylaws after backlash from a prior meeting. Chair Michael Salona thanked Andrea Moore of Save Kings Beach for organizing a petition after what he called "the events of the last board meeting," saying the criticism was "personal" to residents who "want to see a clean Kings Beach." Commissioners voted 3-0 by roll call to reelect Salona and elect a vice chair identified only as Robin, with Colucci and Lozzi absent. The board unanimously approved minutes, hiring-policy recommendations and a motion directing staff to draft standalone bylaws.

Staff reported the reservoir at 51.7 percent capacity, a Level 2 state drought, and a $106,000, eight-month contract to modernize GIS water-asset mapping now accurate only to two to four feet.
