Lynn Zoning Board approves Oakwood Avenue addition, continues two cases

Lynn Zoning Board grants a disability-accommodation variance, continues two other cases to April 7. The board voted 5-0 to let Teresa DeLeon Robles, represented by attorney Samuel A. Vitale, add a bedroom and bathroom to her non-conforming three-family home at 88 Oakwood Avenue for a daughter with disabilities.

A Grandview-area drainage case returned 5-0-1, with member Peter Christopher abstaining, after the board found the applicant still lacked a landscaping plan and an impervious-coverage percentage required under the 65 percent zoning cap. At 206 Ocean Street, owner Ted Coronas and neighbor Vincent Field described reaching an informal truce over a fire-rebuilt deck and spiral staircase, with Field saying they met "in the interest of harmony in the neighborhood." The board unanimously continued that case to April 7 pending a pedestrian landing and final coverage math.
